Best Christian work since Passion imo! Ive been waiting for this level of quality. Its realistic combined with artistic elements. Fantastic casting..graphics . Scenery effects...It breaks away from corniness of cheezy some Christian media..also less crazy diversity casting ( like people who appear like their from modern day Miami and dont fit at all in ancient time). Excellent performance of David, Jonathan, and Saul especially.. people look mostly weathered authentic. Bad accents also kept to a minimum. No trying to be overly artsy or unbiblical. Where it uses artistic license, it emphasizes the heart of the text. Thank you to the funders!!

Why put thongs and dark sensual witch in a movie marketed and geared for families and kids? I thought this would be the next classic but it won't be for many of us. It started great but why take that angle? Why not make a spectacular winter witch with fantastic graphics to match the rest of the special effects? The special effects are amazing. Chris Evans and the Rock did great but I don't trust them after this..they should have provided some input on this as it effects their brand as well. Im sure it'll make a fortune but those of us who want another family classic will have to wait for the perves in Hollywood to make another one or else use VidAngel every year.

Marys parents, and the king looked like they were Scottish which made it hard from the start. Gabriel looked evil. Great acting and production..I thought with Passion that Christian film has reached a new height but we never got that high again..Music ministry is the same. Its gone down. What is happening? There use to be more good Christian films and songs but not as much. Christians films are getting better at production but scripts are lackin. Ethnically Mary and Joseph were great . The opening scenes with herod may have been over the top and less over. The filming and cotr message are great.
