According to his costars, Boy Meets World actor Ben Savage has ghosted his former castmates in recent years, and there may be a few reasons why.
Savage played the lovable main character of the hit ABC comedy, Cory Matthews, for seven seasons from 1993 to 2000, following his growth through middle school, high school, and college.
He would then return to the franchise in 2014, reprising his role in the show's spiritual successor, Girl Meets World (which starred My Life With the Walter Boys' Corey Fogelman). He would help lead that series for three more seasons before it came to an end in 2017.

After being upped to contract status in February 2022, actor Tajh Bellow (Tj Ashford) is now off contract at “General Hospital.”
According to an update to the show’s end credits on Friday, February 21, Bellow’s name was removed from the contract cast list after previously appearing between cast members Kristina Wagner (Felicia Scorpio) and Tanisha Harper (Jordan Ashford).
The change in status for Bellow doesn’t come as a surprise considering the actor seemingly gave an indication early last week when he took to his Instagram, saying, “I know a lot of my fans are wondering what’s next for Tj, but before I speak to that I wanted to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished together.”
Bellow’s post highlighted his appreciation for all the support he received during last year’s tumultuous storyline which saw Tj and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) lose their daughter following a traumatic accident involving their surrogate,...

Danielle Fishel and Maitland Ward had it out.
A lot of drama has emerged from the Boy Meets World cast’s podcast. From memories of predators who manipulated them to hide to recollections of what it was like to film, they’ve shared a lot.
This time, the drama erupted on the podcast itself.
An attempt to rehash and maybe smooth over old issues led to a head-to-head confrontation between Danielle Fishel and Maitland Ward.

It was a tense reunion between Boy Meets World stars Danielle Fishel and Maitland Ward on the latest episode of the Pod Meets World podcast.
Ward was a guest on the podcast hosted by Fishel, Rider Strong, and Will Firedle, as the Boy Meets World alum talked about Season 6 of the ABC sitcom. Ward joined the show in 1998 and stayed with the series until its end in 2000.
Midway through the podcast that premiered on February 24, Fishel asked Ward, “Do you hate us?”
“No, I don’t hate you,” Ward said, adding, “I think that you hate me because you wouldn’t speak to me on Girl Meets World and that was hurtful.”
Ward was referring to the Boy Meets World spinoff sequel series, Girl Meets World, which aired on Disney Channel for three seasons. In 2013, Ward shared a photo from the set of the series alongside stars Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter.

In a podcast first, “Pod Meets World” included the following warning at the top of their latest episode: “This episode contains a bunch of *** language and subject matter. Please proceed with caution.”
The Feb. 23 episode featured Maitland Ward, the actor best known as Rachel McGuire on “Boy Meets World.” After visiting the “Girl Meets World” set in 2015, Ward began growing her personal brand and later went on to become an *** film star. While they did discuss that transition and her work now, it wasn’t until after that discussion that things got extremely tense.
The tone changed about 55 minutes in, when co-host Danielle Fishel asked, “Do you hate us?” Ward replied, “No, I do not hate you. I think that you hate me, because you wouldn’t speak to me on ‘Girl Meets World,’ and that was hurtful.”
From there, the pair went back and forth about their relationship through the years.

There’s a whole lot of James T. Kirk in the air these days. William Shatner recently said he’s soon to talk to a Star Trek show writer about possibly reprising the character, and Shatner voiced Kirk in the 2024 short film Unification (with Sam Witwer as the physical Kirk). Paul Wesley portrayed Kirk in seasons one and two of Strange New Worlds and has been confirmed to recur again in the upcoming third season of the series. And, one of these days, if the stars align, Chris Pine may yet again portray Kirk in a fourth feature with the Kelvin timeline Enterprise crew back in action.
But what if the Kelvin crew don’t return? Paramount will surely want to reboot Star Trek again as a film. And if that happens, who might settle into the captain’s chair? Let’s consider a couple of actors in their 40s,...

Seth Meyers went on an epic Boy Meets World rant on his show Late Night with Seth Meyers, and didn't hold back that Topanga Lawrence (Danielle Fishel) made a mistake by proposing to Cory Matthews (Ben Savage) during their high school graduation. “I am officially done with radiation,” she declared, going on to say she is “officially done with what is considered active cancer treatment.”
If you didn’t know, she revealed her diagnosis of ductal carcinoma in situ (Dcis), a form of breast cancer, in August of last year.
“I did 15 rounds of whole breast radiation and then five rounds of targeted radiation, which just means they focus in on the very small area where my cancer was versus treating the entire breast,” she explained.

The cast of Boy Meets World candidly reacts to Mr. Turner's one-sentence sendoff. Played by Anthony Tyler Quinn, the character of Jonathan Turner was important in the early seasons of the family sitcom. Appearing in 51 episodes, which went from season 2 to season 4, Turner develops a fatherly relationship with Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong). It makes it all the more jarring when Mr. Turner is abruptly written off the show after getting into a motorcycle accident, with Quinn not reprising the role until the spinoff Girl Meets World.
With the rewatch podcast Pod Meets World revisiting the season 5 finale "Graduation", which features a joke about the fact that Mr. Turner wanders a part of the school that the protagonists never visit along with other disappeared supporting characters. Danielle Fishel (Topanga) and Will Friedle (Eric) reacted to the Mr. Turner joke, along with Strong, and they shared mixed feelings. While they acknowledged that it was funny,...

Whitney Cummings was fiery while appearing on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen, taunting the co-hosts.
However, Cohen got the opportunity to make it a little awkward for Cummings, asking her about passing on Sabrina Carpenter for the Roseanne revival in 2018.
“No one passes on Sabrina Carpenter for anything,” Cummings told Cohen before explaining, “She came in and she was not a match for a million reasons.”
Cummings told Cohen, “Of course, you’re going to bring up this drama.”
Carpenter auditioned for the role of Harris Conner Healy, Roseanne’s granddaughter and daughter of Sara Gilbert’s Darlene Conner Healy. The “Please Please Please” singer lost out on the role, a role that eventually went to Emma Kenney.
Carpenter went on to find success in music, and Cummings joked, “I deserve a percentage of her touring money for not hiring her. Otherwise,...

If The Big Bang Theory wants to create another prequel series similar to Young Sheldon, Penny is the best character to focus on. The sitcom about a group of socially awkward scientists and friends is still popular several years after it ended, leading to speculation that there will someday be a The Big Bang Theory revival. In the meantime, it has already spawned two spinoffs. Young Sheldon, which focused on Sheldon's childhood, ran for seven years on CBS before making way for Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, which is the first spinoff not to revolve around Sheldon.
Young Sheldon's phenomenal success has led to speculation and debate over ranking prequel ideas starring other The Big Bang Theory characters. Theoretically, any of the main characters could be spun off into a prequel series, as little is known about any of their childhoods or the events that shaped them into the people...

Sabrina Carpenter is one of the most popular music artists working today, and her 2024 was nothing short of extraordinary, resulting in a huge net worth. Carpenter released her album Short n' Sweet in August, which debuted atop the Billboard 200 list. Three of the album's singles — "Espresso," Please Please Please," and "Taste" — spent weeks on the Hot 100 charts. Carpenter also embarked on her first arena tour, released an incredible music video "Taste" that paid homage to cult classic Death Becomes Her, received six Grammy nominations, and debuted her Netflix special, A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter.
While many may think she got famous overnight, Carpenter's success is the result of years of hard work. Carpenter began her career in 2011 with a guest appearance on Law and Order: Svu. Her big break came in 2013 when she was cast on the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World, a spin-off of the beloved 90s show Boy Meets World.

It’s been over a week since Doug’s funeral on Days of Our Lives, and people are still talking about it.
You wouldn’t think that a heartbreaking event like the death of a legacy character would be the most exciting news to hit the soap in a while, but I get it.
Days of Our Lives‘ Doug sendoff included several legacy characters whose stays were all too short, and the way so many Salemites bonded together was a throwback to the show’s glory days.
(Peacock/Screenshot) Doug’s Sendoff And Its Aftermath Were All About Family
Days of Our Lives has suffered the same problem as the rest of the television landscape: there is less focus on families and their issues in favor of crime and medical drama.
But during Doug’s funeral week, everything changed, and even now, there are some remnants of the show that once was.

The '90s was a complicated time to be a TV teen. While the kids of "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Melrose Place" were entrenched in constant scandalous teen drama, a gentler, more family-friendly version of teen life was drawing in audiences on ABC. "Boy Meets World" ran for an impressive 158 episodes, from 1993 to 2000, and remains a pop cultural touchstone — albeit not quite as potent of one as its cattier primetime counterparts — to this day.
Like every memorable sitcom, "Boy Meets World" knew how to pick a guest star, and several of the actors who showed up across its seven-season run went on to be pretty dang famous. In a few cases, people who were already big-name actors at the time also dropped in on the kids of John Adams High. If you watched the show at a young age, though, you'd be forgiven for not recognizing the industry veterans and...

Did I do thaaaaaat? Irritating nerd next door Steve Urkel did a lot throughout Family Matters’ nine seasons but one thing he didn’t do was get his own series. Cereal, board games and pull-string dolls, sure, but a spin-off? Not if Jaleel White had his say.
In his new book (via EW), Growing Up Urkel, Jaleel White reveals that he was approached to have his own Urkel show to capitalize on the nostalgia wave of shows like Fuller House and Girl Meets World, both spin-offs of beloved Tgif shows. In it, Urkel would have married Laura (Kellie Shanygne Williams) – something teased in “Pop Goes the Question” but pushed aside for the odd two-part finale where Urkel goes to space(!) – and the two would have had a son. On the premise, White noted, “I was offered the chance to do a reboot of Family Matters but I turned it down for several reasons.

Roseanne Barr claims that getting kicked off of Roseanne was the worst thing that ever happened to her. For Sabrina Carpenter, getting cast on it could have been even worse.
Even without Barr, the revival of the beloved 1990s sitcom Roseanne has been a huge success for ABC since The Conners first premiered in 2018. After Barr’s dismissal following her racist tweets directed at Obama administration official Valerie Jarrett, the reworked sitcom sans title character was the #1 new comedy for the 2018 season, and, though The Conners suffered the same gradual drop-off that most sitcoms see in later seasons, ABC is reportedly eyeing 2025 for the release of the seventh and final season of the now-John-Goodman-led comedy.
This means that, in some alternative universe, Sabrina Carpenter is currently getting ready to send off her Conners character Harris Conner-Healy with grace, and Emma Kenney released the song of the 2024 summer with “Espresso.”

The acclaimed reboot, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, is already well into its inaugural season, with plenty of episodes still on the way before season 1 ends. Following up on the lives of the Russo family from Wizards of Waverly Place, which ran from 2007 to 2012 on Disney Channel, the 2024 series Wizards Beyond Waverly Place focuses on the eldest Russo sibling, Justin (David Henrie), as he trains a young wizard at his sister Alexs (Selena Gomez) request. A few original actors have reprised their roles in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place season 1, but the main cast is primarily new.
The sequel series premiered simultaneously on Disney+ and Disney Channel on October 29, 2024. However, while the first nine episodes of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place debuted on Disney+ the following day, Disney Channel premiered the first two episodes on October 29 and has since been airing two new episodes weekly. The Bold and the Beautiful threw a curveball to viewers last week when the preview video showed a blip from Electra’s (Laneya Grace) past.
When she and Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) popped up at Forrester Creations, it was assumed it was to put in a love interest for Will (Crew Morrow) and to give Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) something to squirm about.
However, that doesn’t appear to be the case. Electra will bring an entire storyline with her, including a stalker.
Earlier this week, Electra expressed her unease about being one of the faces of the jewelry line, revealing that she preferred to let Ivy get her exposure and remain in the background.
While the relationship between Electra and Remy Pryce has yet to be detailed, it seems he will cause plenty of trouble when he arrives in Los Angeles.
Here’s what we know about Remy and why...

Lopez Vs Lopez, currently airing its third season on NBC, combines family sitcom antics with a dose of genuine pathos. George Lopez stars as an alcoholic who is forced to move in with his estranged daughter, a status quo shift that forces him to rethink his life and strive to do better for the sake of his daughter, grandson, and the rest of his family. The show is co-created by Mayan Lopez, George's real-life daughter who also stars as George's on-screen progeny.

The Bold and the Beautiful has a new guy headed to Los Angeles, and he seems creepy. Fans likely noticed the newcomer in the B&b preview video for next week. It was actor Christian Weissmann.
Creepy Ex
Soap Opera Digest reported that Weissmann will portray Remy Pryce. Remy appears to be a man from Electra’s (Laneya Grace) past. According to the B&b video preview for next week, he may have a bit of an obsession with Electra, which will certainly cause issues in LA. Will (Crew Morrow) and Electra are just starting to explore a relationship, and we don’t expect Remy to appreciate that.
A daytime newcomer, Weissmann started acting as a child in local theater productions. He moved to Los Angeles at age 14 to begin auditioning. You may recognize him from roles on Girl Meets World and Saved by The Bell. He appeared on the latter for two seasons as Nate.
